netdiag software package provides Net-Diagnostics (trafshow,netwatch,statnet,tcpspray,tcpblast), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install netdiag
netdiag is installed in your system.
Make ensure the netdiag package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep netdiag *
You will get with netdiag package name, version, architecture and description in a table
